Marvin combines deep expertise in corporate sustainability and artificial intelligence to help clients navigate nature and climate risk, environmental accounting, and strategic resilience planning. He is certified by the CFA Institute in climate risk valuation and investing. His mission: turn sustainability into competitive advantage – integrating assessments of key impacts and dependencies with rigorous management of financial risks and opportunities. Before joining Sustainserv, Marvin worked as a researcher and data scientist at Eawag, the water research institute of ETH Zurich, applying cutting-edge machine learning and big data to tackle pressing water-related challenges and hazards. He holds a PhD in natural sciences from the University of Tübingen, Germany, and completed an international graduate program in partnership with Canadian institutions.
