CCR 13th Annual Reporting Symposium: ‘pain or gain?’ – Implementing increasing requirements for non-financial reporting in a targeted manner

THE ANNUAL ANNUAL REPORTS SYMPOSIUM BRINGS TOGETHER MORE THAN 300 DECISION-MAKERS, EXPERTS, AND PRACTITIONERS FROM THE FIELD OF CORPORATE REPORTING. THIS YEAR’S HYBRID EVENT PROMISES INSPIRATION, CURRENT TRENDS AND BEST-PRACTICE CASES UNDER THE MOTTO ‘SHOW VALUE, BUILD TRUST’ FOR THE NEXT REPORTING SEASON.

We are pleased to support this event of the Center for Corporate Reporting (CCR) and to present and to support the Best Practice Session on ‘pain or gain?’ – Implementing increasing requirements for non-financial reporting in a targeted manner. The session will be led by our expert Sibylle Umiker together with Fabienne Strobel from Swiss Life.

2022 is the year of changes in the reporting landscape: clarity about the implementation of the counterproposal to the Corporate Responsibility Initiative and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive in Europe; entry into force of the GRI Universal Standards 2021; Increasing importance of the Value Reporting Foundation (merger of IIRC & SASB) and preparation for IFRS/ISSB development. The challenge for companies is to proactively leverage these changes to position themselves and not dismiss them as defensive compliance exercises.

Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of various forms of implementation and learn how Swiss Life has successfully mastered this balancing act.

The contribution to the symposium is part of our event programme to celebrate our 20th anniversary and to thank our clients and partners for the privilege of working with them over the last two decades.
