Science-based Targets for Nature – The Next Big Thing in Goal Setting

Jeff Gowdy, Global Sustainability Expert and Director at Sustainserv, will be speaking on SBTN at the 2025 TIRE Conference in South Carolina. Over 7000 companies have set greenhouse emissions reduction targets in line with science. In the past year, eighteen companies participated in the Science Based Targets Network pilot rollout of target setting for nature. This includes goals for freshwater, land, oceans, and biodiversity. This presentation will provide an overview of this next big thing in goal setting and how companies in the tire value chain can prepare and act.
