Lunch will be provided.
Companies that rely upon ecosystem services and natural capital for their business models—in their own operations or value chain—are uniquely exposed to financial, reputational and sometimes existential risks arising from this dependence. While risk assessments as they relate to climate change are becoming commonplace, processes to explore the materiality of various nature-specific risks are in their infancy.
In this workshop we will explore a process to assess nature-specific risks from a variety of lenses, with the goal of applying financial valuation methodologies to the identified risks.
This workshop is intended for sustainability practitioners, investors and others who businesses depend on better understanding this challenging risk landscape.
