Today, Sustainserv announced an upcoming event centered around how companies can develop and strengthen their Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) programs in the face of political and economic uncertainty.
This week on Wednesday, June 25th at 10:00 a.m. ET, Sustainserv, in partnership with Associated Industries of Massachusetts (AIM), will host a webinar entitled “ESG Reporting & Data Collection – What Businesses Need to Know”. With a focus on the theme of “Corporate Sustainability in a Fast-Moving World,” the event will feature a discussion with practitioners from some of Massachusetts’ leading firms on topics such as current and pending laws in California and Europe for sustainability disclosures, expectations for supply chains, goal setting, and the rapid integration of AI-powered technologies in the sustainability field.
“In a time of political and economic uncertainty, the business case for sustainability has never been stronger or more urgent,” said Dr. Matthew Gardner, Managing Partner at Sustainserv. “As regulatory expectations evolve in the U.S. and abroad, and technologies like AI reshape how we work, companies must focus on what is material, measurable, and meaningful. We are proud to partner with AIM and others to help bring this message to companies and organizations to help them build ESG programs that are not only compliant, but resilient and value driven.”
Dr. Gardner, who also chairs the AIM’s Energy, Environment & Sustainability (EES) Committee, will moderate a panel that will feature Johanna Jobin, Global Head of Environment and Sustainability for Takeda, Ezequiel (Zeke) Hart, Corporate Director of Sustainability at Triumvirate Environmental, Derek Oliver, Head of ESG for Waters Corporation, and Cristina Mendoza, a Director at Sustainserv.
hese ongoing educational events and webinars are part of Sustainserv’s broader commitment to equipping companies with the tools and insights needed to navigate an increasingly complex sustainability landscape. As shifting policies, technological disruption, and heightened stakeholder expectations continue to shape the business environment, Sustainserv remains focused on helping organizations turn ESG challenges into strategic opportunities.
