AI is quickly moving from experimentation to everyday use in corporate reporting. However, the reality is more nuanced than the narrative of ‘Reporting at the push of a button’.
This Best-Practice Session features two case studies: Basilea Pharmaceutica, using a third-party, AI-enabled platform for its sustainability reporting, and Henkel, leveraging its internal AI potential first. Based on these cases, the session explores what really works concerning AI in reporting, from information collection and standards gap checks to text updates and early drafting, and what is not (yet) realistic.
Participants will gain practical insights into which reporting tasks can be automated effectively, where human judgment and quality control remain essential, and how to design AI workflows that improve speed and consistency without compromising accountability and reporting quality.
